AFEELA Becomes the First Car in the World to Integrate PlayStation Remote Play

Tokyo — December 18, 2025

Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) has officially redefined in-car entertainment. In a landmark announcement, the company confirmed that AFEELA will be the world’s first vehicle to feature native PS Remote Play integration, allowing drivers and passengers to stream and play PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 games directly from the vehicle’s infotainment system.

This breakthrough marks a new era where mobility, entertainment, and digital ecosystems merge seamlessly—turning the cabin into a connected, emotional, and interactive space.

A New Standard for In‑Car Entertainment

PS Remote Play allows users to remotely access and control their PS5 or PS4 console at home. With AFEELA’s integrated display and premium audio system, the experience becomes richer and more immersive than ever before.

Whether waiting in a parked vehicle or keeping passengers entertained during long journeys, AFEELA transforms downtime into playtime—bringing the PlayStation universe into motion.

“Through this integration, we are elevating the customer’s entire travel experience to an unprecedented level of entertainment,”

— Izumi Kawanishi, President & COO, Sony Honda Mobility Inc.

Mobility That Feels You

AFEELA’s core philosophy blends intelligence with emotion. The brand envisions mobility as a space that senses, responds, and inspires. The introduction of PS Remote Play is a direct expression of that vision—turning the vehicle into a dynamic, sensory-rich environment.

The first production model, AFEELA 1, is scheduled for delivery in California in 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter in SHM’s mobility roadmap.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a smooth Remote Play experience, SHM notes the following requirements:

• A broadband connection of at least 5 Mbps (15 Mbps recommended)

• A PS5 or PS4 console connected at home

• Stable network conditions (availability may vary)
